Our main offer
Shopify stores, built to be kept
A store that loads fast on a mid-range phone, gets found in search, and can be edited by your team without a developer on standby.
Why stores need this
What we usually find
- 01
A theme fighting its apps
Twelve apps injecting scripts, three of them doing the same job, one of them abandoned by its developer two years ago.
- 02
A six-second mobile load
Uncompressed hero images, a slider nobody uses, and fonts loading after the text. Most of it is fixable in a week.
- 03
Collections search cannot read
No structured data, thin collection pages, and filters that generate thousands of duplicate URLs.
- 04
Nobody to call
The agency that built it moved on, and the theme is custom enough that nobody wants to touch it.
Scope
What the engagement includes
- Custom theme work on Shopify's native stack — no page-builder lock-in
- Home, collection, product, cart and checkout templates
- Section and block schema documented for your team
- Performance budget agreed up front, measured at handover
- Structured data, canonicals, sitemap and redirect map
- GA4 and Search Console verified before launch
- Two weeks of post-launch fixes at no charge
Process
How it runs
Four phases, real durations. Design and development run together — the theme grows around the brand instead of waiting for a finished deck.
Discovery
1 weekWe look at your current store, your analytics and your catalogue, then write the scope. If we are the wrong fit, we say so here.
- Audit of the live store, its apps and its Core Web Vitals
- Written scope with a fixed price before any code is written
- Redirect and template inventory for anything being replaced
Design and build
4–7 weeksOne phase, not two. We start with the brand — type, colour, spacing — and develop the theme around it as it settles, template by template, on a development store you can open any day.
- Brand and type system first, then home, collection, product and cart
- You review in the browser, so changes land in the theme, not a comment thread
- Weekly notes on what shipped; performance budget checked as we go
- Sections and blocks documented while they are built, not after
Launch
1 weekThe switch is the boring part if the week before it was not. We watch the first week closely, because that is when problems show up.
- Redirects mapped, schema validated, sitemap submitted
- GA4 and Search Console verified against live orders
- Two weeks of post-launch fixes at no charge
After
Ongoing, optionalEither we keep going or we hand it over properly. Both are fine.
- SEO and maintenance on a monthly retainer
- Or a clean handover with theme documentation and a walkthrough

FAQ
Common questions
How long does a Shopify build take?
Six to ten weeks for a full build, depending on catalogue size and how many templates need custom work. A fix sprint on an existing store is one to two weeks.
What does a Shopify store cost?
Builds start at $600 and are quoted as a fixed price after a discovery call. A scoped fix sprint starts at $100. Retainers start at $300 a month.
Do you work with Shopify Plus?
Yes. Checkout extensibility and Shopify Functions are part of what we do on Plus stores. On standard Shopify the checkout is largely fixed, and we will say so rather than sell you work that cannot be done.
Will I be able to edit the site myself?
That is the point of building on sections and blocks rather than a page builder. You get documented sections in the theme editor, and a handover walkthrough.
Do you migrate from WooCommerce or Magento?
Yes, including the redirect map, which is the part that usually gets skipped and costs the most traffic.
Who actually does the work?
A developer assigned to your project, who scopes it and stays on it through launch. No bait-and-switch handover to someone else after you sign.
